About the Journal

Mind Journal has started its journey in the year 2024. The journal is meant for academicians, professionals and graduate students and offers readers interested in psychology free access to high quality scientific information.

Mind Journal is a monthly journal publishing high quality research articles in online and offline modes. The journal accepts scholarly articles focusing on current investigations in the field of Psychology, Allied Health and Statistics. Action researches and researches with application scope are mostly welcomed. The journal publishes Editorials, Research Reports, Theoretical Contributions, Articles based on empirical data, and Review Articles.

The journal follows adequate peer review process. A plagiarism checking is also made for each submission. The journal publication fee is 800rs but currently there is no processing charges. The journal will be indexed in necessary databases soon.

After submission there is an initial screening of the paper by editors, whereby editors decide whether the submission is appropriate to be sent to review or not ('desk reject'). Occasionally, editors may recommend a revision before sending the submission to review. This initial screening usually needs one week time.

Submissions that pass the initial screening will be assigned to at least two reviewers (double-blind peer review). Based on the reviews editors will make a first editor decision. There are four possible editor decisions:

  • accept submission without revisions
  • accept submission after minor changes have been made (no additional round of review)
  • resubmit submission after significant changes have been made (new round of review starts)
  • decline submission, the submission will not be published

The time to reach a final decision (accept/decline submission) depends on the number of review rounds, authors' responsiveness etc. Usually, the time span from submission to final decision takes 7 to 15 days.

The total turnaround time for publishing a manuscript depends (additionally to the factors mentioned above) on the submission date, the journal's publication schedule, authors' adherence to the publication guidelines etc. Reviewed and accepted submissions are published with Mind Journal after 1 month.

To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this journal, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors and reviewers from being known to each other.

Plagiarism Screening is made for each submitted research paper. This journal uses Similarity Check, a multi-publisher initiative to screen published and submitted content for originality.

The Mind Journal follows the Policies namely open access policies, preprint policies, permanency of content, cookie policy and copyright policy.
